“ Great small, quiet beach club! The friendly cats and racoon family that live on the property made it even better. The water is serene and turquoise, saw a string ray and a huge starfish snorkeling . Margaritas were delicious. ”
“ Playa Palancar Review – 9/10 Experience Visiting Playa Palancar was one of the highlights of our cruise stop. It’s about a 30 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminal. While the local taxi rate is 70, I managed to negotiate it down to 40 but other drivers offered 50, just be aware that the return trip is a fixed 70 with no wiggle room. Entry to the beach is 20 per person, which includes a lounge chair, umbrella, and WiFi. The beach itself is clean, cozy, and not overcrowded. The water was crystal clear, warm, and just absolutely perfect like something out of a postcard. We did a snorkeling excursion for 45 per person. It included three 20 minute stops, but honestly, there weren’t many fish to see. Still, the kids enjoyed the adventure. Our waiter, Antonio, was incredibly friendly and attentive. We ordered margaritas, which were fantastic, and a spread of nachos, beef tacos, shrimp quesadillas, and guacamole solid 9/10 across the board. Overall, Playa Palancar is a great choice for cruise passengers looking for a relaxing beach day. Clean water, good food, and great service made it a memorable experience. I’d rate the day an 9 out of 10 and would definitely return. Don’t hesitate just go! ”
“ Food is OK, service is usually good, but be mindful what day cruises come in as you'll want to get there nice and early to ensure a decent seat at the beach club, otherwise you'll be super far away and their wifi won't reach. The beach/water is the biggest draw, easily best beach club in Cozumel. ”
“ This was an unplanned last minute stop and turned out to be the best time ever. For 10 got 2 chairs on the beach with wonderful views of the water and activities. I liked that they had music but it was not overwhelming. We ordered drinks and then food. Both were amazing. All items are reasonably priced. We were the first to arrive when they opened and only left around 4 due to the rain. Our server Antonio was excellent. He checked on us frequently but never pushing more food or drinks. This was a wonderful day and one I am so glad we stopped at. We can’t wait to come back again. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Palancar Beach is about 20 minutes from ship port. You drive through this dirt road after getting off the main road. There are two places /restaurants to chose from. We didn't like the one on the left because you had to pay for everything separately like the chairs, the umbrellas, the snorkel gear, the food, the drinks and so on. We walked over to the one on the right about 200 feet. All included for 60 even alcohol but there was a limit of 3 meals. They had a massage cabana that was a separate charge but it was not expensive. The service, the food and the drinks were great and delicious. I will definitely go back. The beach is gorgeous, you can be in the warm water for hours. It's a perfect place to relax, have fun. ”
“ We have been there on a Mexican Holiday when like many other places were closed. We found it almost accidentally and loved it. The beach club is just so nice and beautiful. The beach itself is clean und very beautiful. The employees are all super friendly and outgoing. We went the with almost no Cash and still got a little tour ::) ¡bring CASH - they don’t take any cards! On our snorkeling tour we’ve seen some very beautiful underwater life! i don’t know how to thank them more for taking us!!! I recommend this beach club to everyone :) we had fun this day!! “ If you're looking for a beautiful spot that's quiet with good drinks when you're on a budget - this is a great spot! We looked for other locations, however, many were over our budget for entry or sold out (i.e. Paradise Beach, Mr. Sanchos). We're so glad we found this spot! We did not order food, but other families did and it smelled delicious. Their daiquiris are so good, and the service is friendly and fast. We will be coming back for sure! ”
